I went cross-country that day with my family and on our way home we got hungry since it was late afternoon. Among all the Frite... Alors locations we decided to go here on Avenue Du Parc. Very tiny but cozy place. Very friendly waitress who came to see usevery few minutes. My husband ordered a pulled-pork burger and a side of fries with bbq sauce, and as for me, a smoked meatpoutine called ?montrealaise? and a nice Boreale beer. We enjoyed everything we ordered, SAUCES at Frite Alors very tasty.except for my poutine fries they were more of smaller tiny pieces rather than long juicy fries ( but I understand, we got therearound 4ish afternoon so it was in between lunch and dinner) But they were generous with smoked meat and pickles so I cantcomplain ;) overall It was great! The wait was fine considering the amount of people there, and the food was great(general Thao poutine). Other reviews say the... portions were small, but I honestly can?t comprehend how. The portions were generous. Flavour was great, but the fries couldhave been a bit crispier. Read more
Went to this location this evening (april 9, 2021) and service was terrible. First, the wait was extremely long for a fast food... restaurant. Second, I ordered a European hot dog, and it was not served on Ciabatta bread. Third, the fries portion was reallynot generous another Friday I went to this location compared to all other locations, so I had to ask them to put a decentportion. Lastly, but probably most importantly, the lady making the food was on a call, touching her cellphone then the food andeven placed her cellphone on the counter with all of the food. Heard great things about this franchise and decide to try it out. I ordered the pulled duck poutine (La Canarduck) and one of... their specialty burgers (The Royal de Charlevoix). They were both served freshly made by their friendly staff and I had theoption to either dine in the restaurant or out on the terrasse. On a bright sunny day, I chose the latter. They were served onplatters and they were so tasty. You'd definitely want to take your time savoring them. They even have Stewart's Cola or achoice of beers to wash your meal down. Read more
