Such a great place!! Be sure to make a reservation because this place is a hot spot! Excellent quality sushi and a lot of... Japanese tapas to choose from! My husband and I ordered the salmon summer roll, the shiitake mushrooms and beef sashimi asstarters and they were all fantastic! For our main meal, we did the 20 piece chef choice sashimi plate with the dragon rollalong with the lobster roll and it was absolutely incredible! Definitely try it?you won?t be disappointed ???? Loved the sake tasting, 4 different, great. I chose 2 kinds of signature sushis, tasted the same, not the best sushi I had, for... the price I paid I was expecting to be impressed!? The dessert donuts was the best part I enjoyed. Good service ???? Read more
Due to the rain today we opted to try going into Kyo Bar instead of where we had our reservation. We could not be more pleased... with the chance events that occurred leading us to this amazing place. The food was to die for. Luckily they had one tableavaliable! We shared all our dishes. Our favorite was the chef's choice Maki which included sushi not included on the menu. Itwas so so good !!! Also if I could recommend anything, you absolutely have to order the donuts. We were excited about this place after the other reviews. But came in and were seated promptly but after ordering out water had... to wait 30 minutes to get it, and it was brought out with our cocktails. The food wait wasn?t an issue as it was busy but thelack of service from our waiting was quite bothersome. Seeing other tables get serviced while we waited long after our cocktailswere finished and never was asked if we wanted anything else, nor could we get his attention. We were only able to order foodafter our single plate of sashimi came (after a long but expected wait due to business) and we ordered another dish, and ourtable wasn?t bussed or anything. While the table across from us with the same server was more than taken care of. As a formerrestaurant worker (line cook, and server) not the type of service, I would expect even on a busy night. 2 stars because theprice of the food and quality was really good. And definitely would recommend getting it! I would recommend unless yourordering cocktails get the food to go if it?s busy. If you do want to sit down maybe ensure the staffing is proper or you mayexpect a long wait time. I do want to say I know staffing shortages has been a common issue globally and I assume it was arandom off night for them. Read more
