We visited as part of MTLaTable, and we were initially impressed by the ambience and the chic decor. Our starters kept up the... style level, with a lovely pairing of crisp crostini with soft burrata cheese. It all fell apart at the entree, with one mealbeing poorly prepared, but they made it right, which was greatly appreciated. Dessert came back as a big win. Delicious. Read more
Ridiculously long wait for steak after finishing appetizer (>45 mins no joke). Plating of the steak does not match its... reputation, very simple steak in the middle with two dipping sauce. That is it. Dry aged steak’s taste is not comparable toother professional steakhouse in Toronto. Mac&cheese and mini burgers are very ordinary in taste and plating compared to manyother less fancy restaurant. Also means they are overpriced for what is offered. Enjoyed breakfast, but just the same menu everyday...
Probably one of the best restaurants with tasting menu I’ve experienced. Vibrant and modern ambiance with live Dj music (but... not too loud) makes this place a perfect place for a fun evening with loved ones. The octopus carpaccio was scrumptious, freshtasting, with a little mustard adding a hint of heat. Followed by Cornish hen, very beautifully presented and delicious. Theonly thing I’ll add is that the chef might consider making the dish a little more saucy to avoid the chicken gettingdry. Finally no meal complete without a dessert and what an amazing ending it was. The cannoli was awesome. The cream fillingwas so fresh it tasted as if it was just put together. The restaurant is beautifully designed and has a great atmosphere. We went on a Sunday so it was a slower night and less... crowded. The service was very good , our waiter came regularly to fill our water and to check it everyone was good. Theappetizers were amazing , taste wise and presentation. As for the main dish, it was good but some found some hiccups. We had thecavatelli which were tasty but undercooked and a but dry. Yes some pasta should be "al dente" but not these! And they weresuper "al dente". When I mentioned it to the waiter he said that he had the same comment from multiple clients ! Yet .. nochanges. Then came the desert and everyone was happy again !
