Loved everything we ordered! Bonus points for the arugula pizza and its balsamic sauce. We ordered take out but hubby said it... was nice inside so I guess we'll have to come back to dine in :) The only thing though is the parking situation, it's limited inthe area you might have to look around a bit... but the food is worth it! We saw a review of this restaurant on TikTok video. The person convinced us to try it by his comments and pictures of the pizza... and pasta . We were willing to travel about 30 minutes from home to sample it and it was all worth it! We started by sharing acesar salad with homemade vinaigrette and crispy pancetta. We were in the mood for pizza. All pizza are individual size. Iordered the Toscana (sweet tomato sauce, arugula, prosciutto, cherry tomatoes, fiore di latte, parmesan petals and balsamicreduction). Are you salivating yet? Wait! My husband had the Carnivore (tomato sauce, mozzarella, pancetta, pepperoni, italiansausage, and italian cooked ham. Another homerun! The dough was perfectly baked. I had the chance to eat at some amazing italian restaurants in Canada and in Italy and unfortunately it does not come close.... They do a legitimate attempt at recreating authentic Italian food, like they really do try, but it feels like the dishes areprepared by amateur homecooks, the balance of flavors and textures is just not there at all in comparison. Its good compared tocheap Canadian chains like Mikes (and that's probably why they got so many great reviews, they're the only Italian place formiles around that really tries to cook authentically with fresh ingredients), but compared to the real thing it's just not thereat all. Also, it's on the expensive side. It's worth it when the dishes are well executed... But I wouldn't pay that price againfor these dishes. Long story short: if you only had "Canadian italian food", go there you'll love it, they cook with freshingredients. If you had the real deal, you'll be disappointed. Read more
