Menu for SUSHI ST-DENIS in Montréal, QC

Good AYCE sushi with a decent menu selection. Service is quite fast and the sushi is actually really good. My biggest complaint... is that the menu doesn't say what's in the rolls, and some of them are different than the standard rolls we're used to. (Forexample: most places have their Philadelphia Rolls contain smoked salmon, cream cheese, and avocado; here it's eel, creamcheese, and avocado. Still really good, but not what we were expecting.) probably one of the worst service I've ever had. the food isn't good either so its not even worth putting up with the service.... the only plus was that taylor swift was playing the whole time during my meal with no breaks so at least whoever on aux knewwhat was going on. i dont even know how to describe the service. our first rude encounter was when i wanted my main meal platereplaced and asked the man who seemed to be the manager. i believed at first that the manager misunderstood me and wasn'tplanning on replacing my plate but only to clear it so i asked a different waiter after the manager left. the manager saw measking and said "its not nice to ask someone different" very aggressively to me. next, there was a table next to us whom thewaiter lectured very rudely about not wasting food. later with the same table, the waiter was notifying about last calls fororders. the customer misheard the waiter which the waiter corrected the customer very harshly. Our last bad experience occuredwhile I was paying. I was not planning on tipping due to how harsh the service was. the waitress saw on the receipt that i didnttip and had the audacity to tell me "the tip wasn't included". just to let you guys know, tipping is not mandatory especiallywhen service is terrible!! so to make things less awkward, i told her that id leave cash tip on the table. she didn't seem tounderstand so she told the manager. when the manager came over, he told us that there is a service fee(as if it is mandatory?)but cut himself off when he realized there was cash on the table and started apologizing. on top of that, both me and the personI was eating with were younger by 20 years than all the other tables and obviously college students as we were wearing hoodieswith our university name. they still felt the need to criticize us for not tipping even after we paid $92 for 2 people to eat.highly do not recommend! Excellent all you can eat sushi place. The staff is very friendly. The food is amazing. Perfect for a date night. Better eat all... that you order otherwise they charge you...but there's never any food left usually ???? Read more

The food was good when it came, but they kept leaving out items we ordered from the ayce. Had 2 servers, the young server was... nice, but the older man server was the worst server I have ever encountered. He had long fingernails that kept touching our foodas he served and he was very very rude. Read more

Very deceiving experience. We used to go to Sushi Crescent and decided to try the one on St-Denis today. First sushi quality is... mediocre even for a all you can eat. Secondly, they forgot about 1/3 of our sushi order and when i inquired after waiting for awhile I was just told to place a new order. We placer a second order and guess what, after waiting for 15 minutes after we got apart of our order I inquired about the missing sushis and was told that there were no more orders in the kitchen and if i wantto place a new one. We just took out bill and left. Definitely don?t recommend this place. Service is non existent, food isbarely edible at best. Read more
