We came to celebrate our best friend?s birthday and were treated like princesses by Dominic and Damien! The food definitely... exceeded my expectations and so did the drinks. I got the Cavatelli which was very good, the truffle was a nice added touch tothe dish. I also had a bite of the Braised Beef Cheek Risotto which was to die for! So good!!! Service was on point - attentive and fast. The food was delicious and very well presented - I ate the beef cheek... risotto, which I need to come back for. The melon and cucumber salad was good too - very fresh - but I would probably try adifferent appetizer next time. Didn?t love it enough to have it again. Had a bottle of Chateau de Pizay red wine with my meal,which was perfect. Looking forward to my next visit. Read more
The ambience is very nice. The service is friendly, yet there were very very busy. Four stars because it was Saturday brunch, so... understand that it can get hectic. Waited for awhile for someone to talk to us, even though we had the reservation. When foodcame and the shakshuka was completely burned, nobody came to ask how the food was or if we need ketchup for these potatoes or toorder a new drink. A must visit place in Old Montreal ! Nov. 2022 I was born and raised in Montreal, and I have been living in Ontario for 21... years?... well.. this one single visit to Gaspar made me realize how good the food is in Montreal.
