Friendly, attentive service. Cool decor. Good wine suggestions. Salmon tartare was simple but good. Oysters were nice.

We had reserved at Mauvais Garçons, but for some reason we got seated here. Same menu, different ambiance, more speakeasy-like.... As the evening went on, it almost had a supper club feel, very hip, loud music and lively, with an instagrammer crowd. We tookthe sampler menu, and everything was good to great. I really enjoyed the Cesar salad - you could tell it was made withanchovies, the fried chicken sliders were very tasty, the tatami tuna tacos were fantastic, frankly everything we had was good.The only criticism I can think of is the bavette that was a little overcooked, and the procuitto and melon salad had too muchdressing. But frankly this was minor, and the amount of food was huge for the price. I liked the wine list, we went for a cavaand a nice resiling. The only thing that was a bit of a bummer is the 2 hour limit on our table, so with the amount of food wegot it felt like we had to stuff ourselves in a hurry. All things considered it was a good experience, we probably would havefit in better with the older people on the other side, but it was fun and the food was great. Read more
