I worked with Shannon over the last few months, from Canada, to organize a welcome/ rehearsal dinner for my son?s wedding which... was happening at Top of the Pines, in Ridgway, Colorado. Shannon took care of every detail- she ran the event as if it was herspersonally. The food was excellent; everyone loved it and there was enough selection to accommodate any special needs. Service was good, but I was a little disappointed with the food portions for the price we paid. I got the 1/2 rack of baby back... ribs and left hungry, and I don't eat a lot at my dining sessions. Also the restaurant could use some updating with the insideof the building, especially with the boots. Some of them are ripped needing to be reupholstered. This was our first time at thisrestaurant, and we were moderately satisfied with our meal and that was my entire party that went there to eat as well. My family and I were vacationing through Colorado and stopped in Montrose for lunch. We walked past this place and decided to... give it a try since my dad is on a meat only diet. This place is a true American style restaurant. Lots of meats and sideoptions. I'm a fried okra fanatic so of course I had to give them a try and they were some of the best I've ever had! The meatswere all very juicy and tender. I also decided to try their peach beer and it was delicious.
