Food was very good and very reasonably priced. Helpful, friendly staff plus a clean environment. Checked all my boxes!
Wait staff was very sweet. Fries and onion rings were pretty good, i recommend putting fries and rings on separate plate to... avoid them getting soggy. The steak was the problem. I asked for med rare. 1st time came out dry and way over cooked. Niceenough to try again but the second one was closer to raw than medium rare and was severely over salted. I couldn't eat eitherbut i wasnt about to ask for a 3rd. Likely will not be back here it was 25 bucks for a cheap, poorly cooked steak, fries andsoggy onion rings that sat in the overcooked steak juice. Read more
Let's forget the fact I left my glasses behind ???? after eating here. The service was slow because they are so short staffed.... One waitress working to cover all the tables. It wasn't terribly busy but still a single woman covering all the tables. I chosea senior meal with eggs, French toast and bacon. I would have expected more in the way of French toast, you only get a singleslice cut into two pieces. Bacon wasn't as crispy as I like it but not too bad. We just tried to eat breakfast and this restaurant. The girl that seated us took our drink order. When setting down the water... she spilled it all over the table. She made a comment that ?I have done that so many times?. She told us our server would bewith us shortly She walked off and I thought she was going to get a rag to clean up the water but instead she started cleaningoff the table next to us. I figured maybe the server would come and clean the table We sat there for about 10 minutes and noserver came and the way spilling girl never came over. My husband got up and asked the girl to see if they could come and cleanoff the table and she had the audacity to hand him the rag to clean it himself. That was the last straw We walked out. Salisbury steak at a price should not be soggy ground beef. Service was slow and If you are out of something, you should let us... know before the rest of the food is out. Had to wait for a burger and 15 minutes waiting to find out they were out of salad at1:30pm....the price doesn't match what you get. Not worth sending it back. Everything is smothered in grease. The medium raresteak was super rare...they brag about how good they cook the steak...not impressed. Also, Noone cleans the bathroom. Felt likewe were in a nursing home cafeteria. As I stated, it wasn't worth making a fuss. We tipped well. Part of Service is making sureyour staff know what you have and what you don't. A friendly tip as a Veteran line cook, Fruit doesn't go under a heat lamp for10 minutes and taste very good. Since we are being honest, I will say our waitress was nice.
