I was impressed at the level of culinary inventiveness that rivals restaurants in much larger, competitive cities. The lavender... lemonade was colourful and tasteful in both senses of the word. Pork saltimbocca! Who knew that pork would succumb so perfectlyto the sublime tastes of saltimbocca's capers and lemon. Incredibly fresh and delightful. The medjool dates appetizer waslikewise innovative, a clever combination of unexpected flavors with chorizo and bacon. Even the bread plate was unusual andnew, with little rounds that tagged like Yorkshire pudding, and a chili cornbread with tomato jam. The atmosphere is soattractive with high ceilings, a rustic yellow brick wall, dark wood and paintings throughout. I felt so satisfied after thismeal - great flavors, nice surroundings and a really pleasant evening out. Read more
