So I went here after a long day of work and I was thinking why not? I'm feeling chinese today and drive as this was the closest... in my area as well as open. It was nearly empty, i saw one customer siting in there and showed my card (covid) that i wanted todine in. And they seated me on a booth. Now, im not picky at service and i have a lot of patience, due to my background, yetthis is a family owned restaurant. Personally everybody has their own standards of what is considered polite and whatnot, butthey were taking my order and that's what mattered. If you are a stickler for how people should act in their own restaurant, iwouldnt recommend you their services. Overall i ordered the lunch special, kung pao chicken, and got my full order in 10-15mins. Comes with hot n sour soup, honey salad with peanuts (mmmmmm love them) and steamed rice with fried wontons. (Note thatyou can also order fried rice, they mentioned) they got my order correct. Appetizers were good, love the soup and the salad,because you can never mess up simplicity. As for the kung pao, I was curious as why it wasnt spicy and looked at the menu.Apparently, this restaurant is a non MSG establishment and recollected that with restaurant such as these, you must specify toyour order that you want it spicy. I wasnt too bothered by it, more over it was actually good for me, because i have heartinflammation problems with too much salt. Now i want to get to the vegetables. Perfectly fresh! I been to many before and i hadsome where the vegetables have a dull and unfresh taste to them. This was not the problem here as they were great and can tastethe vegetables for what they are truly are. Finished with the meal, I received the check fast, i didnt ask for it yet, but theydid say i could take some time and the bill was $12 Overall, if you are looking for good fresh lightly or unsalted food and youdont mind how strange the customer service can be, this would be a good place! 10/10 Read more
I went here and sat down to eat but changed my mind and left so I have no comment on food only atmosphere and attitude of... employees. When I walked in the place was absolutely empty it made it awkward and the woman who sat us didn?t say ?welcome in?or any kind of greeting just ?here or takeout?? Yelled from across the place. We said for here even though I was alreadyuncomfortable, and what else would I say lol it was awkward, so we sit down and the lady brings us water (we didn?t ask) and sheasks us like 3 different times if we?re ready when we?re not, there was no patience, we felt extremely rushed. Given howuncomfortable I was, we got up and my boyfriend announced we were leaving & we said thanks anyway, and the woman said somethingalong the lines of ?next time you look at the menu outside, I made that whole table for you and you?re leaving,? which wasextremely rude. I didnt even know there was a menu outside, I didn?t ask her for the water or anything, they had zero othercustomers in restaurant so it?s not like she had a ton to do, all I did was sit at a table and the entire time she acted likethat was a HUGE inconvenience. Never going back because of this terrible customer service, and I?m not one to really leave badreviews, but this experience was so unpleasant that I had to say it. Read more
A truly delicious takeout experience. Two of my favorite dishes are the salt and pepper fish and eggplant and tofu. The fish is... crispy (even as takeout!) and so tasty. The eggplant and tofu are so soft and packed with flavor. I recommend China moon! Read more
