We had a party of 8. The service was great, no doubt about that. Our server did get a bit overwhelmed, I think for party of 6... they should have a server and a helper. Food-wise, it was okay. From what my wife and I had (ahi tuna, turbot fish), the foodwas good, not outstanding. Our entire party share sides, they were pretty good (corn was outstanding, mushroom and brusselssprouts were good. I the customer should be able To decide what I’m going to tip but was basically told if I’m nottipping what he wants me to tip then I shouldn’t come there. I am writing to you to let you know how disappointed we were with service at ML Tavern restaurant. Our reservations were on Oct... 1, 2022, at 7:30 PM for 8 people. Our group was seated at a round table with plenty of room. One of our friends whose husbandrecently past way wanted to join us for a drink. We have politely asked management for extra chair. We told there are no extrachairs in ML Tavern restaurant on Saturday night. Really !!! No chairs at restaurant. We have expected much more from aprestigious and reputed restaurant of your standards. This is not what we expected at all. The manager was rude andunprofessional and asked us to give back a single chair found. The food and service was good. I was a little surprised by the way we were seated. We requested a table seat but they said they... didn't have any so we would have to take one at a high top seat.
