Been a regular here for quite awhile, no longer. Today is not a good day, I have a mother on hospice, had rather. I took my... family for lunch, it was pricey, I know that inflation hits everyone, no problem. I got a text regarding my mother and needed toleave. I went up explained I wasn't going to take the food, I didn't want it sitting in my vehicle as we drove into Albuquerqueand it would be left there while I attended to what I needed to. The woman, I am assuming owners wife, tells me she'll just boxit up, I explain no. I just want a refund, she says no, I explain there is no sign saying no refund, she says there isn't a signsaying she has to give me my money back. I didn't need this, nor expect to be treated so rudely, the owner comes in I explain Igotta go, this is nothing I planned. He refunds $60 on a $71 order. So about $11 for drinks? Gotcha. I have seen biblicalquotes and pamphlets in the restaurant, here's my late mothers favorite one, the woman who yelled at me would do well learningit. ?Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.? I didn't mention the plates were ready, because I didn't know untilI arrived at the counter, beyond that refunds unless explicitly stated otherwise aren't something you should tell a customer tobe happy you went ahead and gave them. As for mentioning my PERSONAL business to you or your staff was not first thing on mymind given what transpired for me. Sorry to inconvenience you and your business with my family's loss. Always feels like home whenever we visit. ???? Brisket that melts in your mouth. Ribs that fall off the bone. Not to mention the... sauces ranging from mild to very hot. ???????????? Another, off-the-wall choice from Google search! Definitely a local joint. We opted for the broasted chicken dinners. Staff was super friendly! Made us feel like we were old friends. Fabulous BBQ! Large portions! Unlike most places? we weren?t... able to finish and had leftovers to bring home. Not normal in this household! Apple pie was the best ever in a lifetime? sorrymom! Menu is unique as they also serve NY style pizza, a few Italian favorites, broasted chicken and wings.
