Super awesome restaurant. Friendly, knowledgeable servers, fairly priced food, with leftovers for the next day due to large... portions. Definitley will be one of our regular places to go. As an FYI the restaurant is open Monday-Thursday and Sunday until9 p.m., not 10 p.m. They are open until 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Read more
Delicious food I've never had anything that wasn't good. and the people there are awesome! I always meet someone new. great... service always with a smile! I Go there all the time cuz it's my favorite place to go. I like to dine in most the time but oncein awhile I'll get takeout either way it's a great place go eat and relax! A hidden gem in the middle of Michigan. An unassuming storefront hides a surprisingly well equipped restaurant with amazing food... (the daily specials are not to be missed), plentiful portions, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. Although they had toclose the deck seating over the lake this year due to lack of staffing, we'll definitely be back next year! Read more

Fabulous example of a Midwest small town cafe (and bar, but we've never used it as other than a restaurant). Guess I'm no longer... anonymous since I posted this picture of my wife and me on the way in to eat yesterday. Actually, I looked slightly less agedthan this! Why the high rating? First, the food is always good and the prices are reasonable. The cooks give you plenty offood. But mainly...the waitresses are always sincerely friendly and their service is more than prompt! At the speed they run,they will never need to join the gym and your food definitely be hot when it arrives at your table. Small town. Local folksworking there.
