I've been wanting to come here forever lol. Bánh Mi was on my list of things to try but didn't know where to get one. After... researching online and reading reviews I decided to come here. Let me tell you, it was love at first bite. I got the S1- Saigonspecial sandwich and I don't have the words to describe it. You just have to try it for yourself and find out why I willcontinue to drive the distance just to eat this delicious sandwich. Read more

So far I've only had the Saigon Subs special (S1 on the menu). I keep getting it because it is CRAZY GOOD!!!!!!! I'll venture... out and try something else eventually, but I just don't want to miss out on the deliciosity (made up word) each time I'mthere. The staff is very nice too. Seems to be quite the popular place! Read more

This is a small little cafe that has seating for about 10 people. They specialize in Banh Mi sandwiches. We ordered the Saigon... special which is pork. You can have it with jalapeño or without. The sandwich is pretty good. Also got the grilled chickenover rice as well as the Saigon special rice which has tofu, grilled chicken and sliced steak. Both the tofu and steak iscurried flavored. The rice is pretty good. We also had the D4 dessert, which had red bean and different flavored jelly overcrushed ice. It is pretty good as well. The bubble tea is good. The hot version is a little on the sweet side the coldversion is better. Read more

I've had this place bookmarked for a while but never got to try it out because it's so far away from us. Until one evening, when... we were watching a movie at a theater kind of close to this area. It was only about a ten minute detour from the theater, so wetook the opportunity to finally try it out (as opposed to the almost hour drive from Hoboken). We ordered two of the SaigonSpecial (Vietnamese pork roll & ham, barbecue pork patty, pâté). It might be one of the best banh mis I’ve ever had in mylife. It’s packed with ingredients and is definitely for meat lovers. I don’t think I’ve ever had a banh mi with so manydifferent types of meat - it’s usually just ham and pork and you usually have to pay extra to add pâté, but not at SaigonSubs. We didn’t end up finishing both and had it for lunch the next day, and it was still good. I would definitely get one perperson, even though a whole one is a little too much - but half will definitely leave you wanting more. I was tempted to try thepork meatball one but since we were eating in the car, I figured it would be too messy. Hope we get to come back soon and trythat one or maybe some of their rice dishes, but the Saigon Special is a must! Read more
