Edit: I'm not sure what's going on but the past few times we've gone, our stuff has either been made incorrectly or missing... toppings/mix ins. These treats aren't cheap so it's frustrating to not get what you ordered. We are going to take a break fromgoing for awhile. Hopefully things improve. There's definitely no shortage of ice cream in the Triangle area but this place isour favorite. Yummy custard with so many combinations! Be sure you download the app-you get points for $5 off your purchase.Everything has always been great and the staff is very nice. There's a drive thru or you can walk up. Plenty of seating in frontand around the place. There's a pond to sit by across the parking lot. My favorite thing to order is their root beer freeze! Read more

Nice place. Very clean, staff is nice and seems to know the menu pretty well. They are a quick service or fast food type dessert... restaurant, similar to a Dairy Queen, but Andy's doesn't have any dinner options, they only offer dessert(s). They call theirproduct a custard. Not to talk negatively about the product (it is pretty good), but it is basically an ice cream with egg yolksadded to the mix before it is churned and frozen. The final product is tasty, but it coats the inside of your mouth and yourtongue more than your normal standard soft serve ice cream would. It has more of a velvety feel and texture, rather than if onlymilk or milk-like substitute was used. They have two basic flavors of "custard" (ice cream), which are vanilla and chocolate. Then they add different toppings, syrups and flavorings. This allows them to offer a large number of options for the customer tochoose from, but not have to have 30 different flavors of ice cream. They have different products for sale you might expect suchas malts, shakes, sundaes, splits, a concrete (similar to a blizzard at DQ), a freeze, old fashioned sodas, floats, Italian ice,and even a product called a jackhammer! They also have their product available for sale in pint and quart sizes, should you beinterested. Their entire menu is available on their website and they also have all nutrition information available on thewebsite as well and it's available to download should someone be interested. The custard is freshly made throughout the day, everyday. My family has been there a few times and it's pretty good and tasty. Not quite the same thing as ice cream, butdefinitely in the same category in our household. It's not something we want every day, but we do enjoy it and will be goingback. Read more

Lots of choices, you will be spoilt. Timings are the best part, it's open late till 11pm....finish off your day with a scoop. I... had heard a lot from so many folks about the great stuff sold here, but not exactly mind boggling. First of all, taste is prettygreat. However, on the whole the base seems the same for all the flavors. I have tried at least 4-5 different flavors, afterthe first few scoops they all seems to taste similar. Overall, quite decent l, I would prefer a handmade ice cream shop morethan this. Read more
