Service was great, although the way they seat people didn't seem to make much sense. I made a reservation so had no issues... though. My four point pizza review: Crust: 3/5 - The flavor and rise was decent, but was stretched far too thin in the middlewhich made it difficult to eat. Sauce: 4/5 - It had ok flavor, but not the amount of tomato tang I'm hoping for to balance theflavors. Toppings: 3/5 - I know the pizza I chose has unusual toppings, but the flavor of the cauliflower just didn't work verywell. There was supposed to be pine nuts, but I was only able to locate one nut on the whole pizza. I'm ok with sparse cheese ona pizza of this type, but it just fell short of having the right amount. Preparation: 4/5 - I like the idea of serving it uncut,and was not at all put out having to do it myself. Again, the biggest disappointment was it being paper thin in thecenter. Other dishes ordered were pasta, which was quite good and had a nice combination of flavors. The other pizza was piledhigh with greens and proscuitto, a more substantial amount of toppings than mine. I can't say I would never return, but since Idon't eat meat it somewhat limits the pizza options I can choose from. Perhaps the meat based pizzas are more impressive thanwhat I had. Brava Maialina's! Visiting Moscow Idaho? Stop in here for a meal...nice selection of antipasti + fantastic prosciutto! ... Firewood oven pizzas...delicious salads! I had 'mussels al forno' beautifully prepared in broth with an 'in season' Capresesalad made with heirloom tomatoes, unique and absolutely delish! The food, the friendly and helpful staff - the very nice spacewith tasteful lighting and warm ambience - this place deserves a lot of credit! I ended dinner with one of the best Tiramisu Ihave ever had accompanied by an amber glass of amarro! Maialina...you are definitely doing a lot RIGHT! Read more
I've always enjoyed my experience here minus having the bizarre rule of needing to wear a dirty mask for the 6.5 second walk to... your table. Thank God that's over. Pizza and salads have all been great. Getting some red sauce on the side to dip is yummy,too. Read more
We avoided this one for a few years based on some early less than thrilling reviews. (Or maybe it was memories of being grossly... overcharged for course packets back when this location was a Kinko’s). A few months ago we decided to give it a try and werevery pleasantly impressed! We have been back many times for both lunch and dinner. The service is consistently excellent andthe food is unique for the area and of very high quality. We love that so much of their ingredients are sourced locally frommany of the same people we buy from at Moscow Farmer’s Market. Read more

The food is simply delicious, but nothing to write home about. The three stars is for the poor work environment where staff are... talked down too or favored. Recent changes have forced the staff to be quiet in the kitchen to “focus.” Kitchen isextremely cluttered with items that things would fall on you while working. No oven mitts provided so cooks were forced to usedry rags “if any were available” to grab items from hot stove or ovens. Knives were not properly sharpened which is more ofa hazard than a sharp knife. Designated “cut gloves” would have holes torn in the fingers making them useless. The ownershave tons of money and yet make all the profits off the hard work of their employees they don’t even take care of. Theemployees are miserable and they don’t care how they treat them.
