Service was absolutely horrible. We were in a group of 8. One appetizer came out cold in the middle. Salad came out hot, and I... mean HOT. Couldn't eat the tomatoes because it was scalding. Which, with a hot salad you would think the rest of the food wouldbe the same temperature, nope, all lukewarm at best. It was incredibly bland, and one person's meal was completelyforgotten. They also had a band playing, it went from table to table. Where we were sitting, if the table behind us requested asong, we couldn't leave. We were basically trapped in our seats and couldn't get up to use the restroom. It'd be fine if it wasfor 5 minutes or so, but we would be stuck for 15-20 minutes. The service was incredibly slow, waiting 10+ minutes for drinks.40+ minutes for food, 30+ minutes for a check. Read more
This eatery is unassuming looking from the street, but worth looking out for. The food was excellent from the fresh Cuban bread... to the main dish. Pictured is the lunch portion of the fried pork chunks with grilled onions, moros, and sweet plantains. Theportion was huge, well priced, and delicious. Read more
The service was good but the food was very disappointing. As someone from the Caribbean, I expected more flavor. The pork chunks... were very dry (you might be able to tell from the picture), the rice tasted reheated and old, and the rest of the food was justokay. This place is highly rated on here but in my opinion the food falls short. Overall wouldn’t come back. Read more
We ate lunch on the spacious patio! Had our two (big) dogs with us. We were given a yummy bread starter with two margaritas!... Empanadas and rice with tomato olives and chicken were as good as any Cuban restaurant I have ever been too! We will be back????I need to know what was in the green sauce ... it was delicious! Our server was really nice, ao thumbs up for a good customer service! The food is not that great, but we still enjoyed the food... after a long-walk to in exploring Mt. Dora Downtown & nearby places.
