Great little lobby bar. The service was a bit slow. Had to get up from my table to go order my drink. The drink was good and the... ambiance was quiet and intimate. Drink prices were a bit steep in my opinion ( $12 for a shot of inexpensive bourbon). Read more
Listen, I judged this place hard when we walked in. The jerk in me felt like I was walking into a retirement home and I felt... completely out of place.. BUT LET ME TELL YOU, I had thee best darn omelette, with fresh ingredients, that was absolutelydelicious, and my husband LOVED the eggs Benedict. The food at the Lakeside Inn was such a pleasant find. We were in town for a long weekend and actually stayed at a different... location, but we had two different meals at the Beauclaire (Lakeside Inn restaurant). My lunch was amazing, which included aBloody Mary and the blackened chicken cob salad. It was wonderful. The front porch is a beautiful setting to sit and enjoy adrink and or lunch / dinner. The staff are so hospitable. Special thanks to our servers Chris and Mackenzie and their generalmanager Michelle. They were all so attentive and accommodating, which honestly is why we went back a second time for dinner. Wevisit Mt Dora frequently, and we will definitely be back at the Beauclair Lakeside Inn for more great memories. Read more
Had brunch this morning with my husband. We both had eggs Benedict, his with smoked salmon, mine was Canadian bacon. Except... nobody in the us actually uses Canadian bacon...mine was smoked ham. Everything was good and served hot. Home fries werenicely spiced. Great coffee Suggestion...if a great breakfast place actually imported real Canadian bacon (peameal would begreat) they would draw in a lot of Canadians who can't get it here. Read more

We had an amazing time having dinner with friends, the food was delicious and the staff was wonderful! They were so busy but our... server, Lauren, was on top of everything.
