Not impressed, ordered a lg bourbon chicken at the Utica homecoming festival. What I got was overcooked rice that was all... clumped together with about 1/2 cup of cubed chicken thrown on top and smothered in sauce. Need to put a little more effort intoyour dishes especially when charging $15 ! Read more
Beans were good, mac was decent, cornbread was good?. Those sauce fellas are killing it with the ribs.
Highly recommend for great Ohio barbecue. Excellent food. Very personable owner and son. Had a great conversation waiting for... our food to be prepared. Food was outstanding. Delicious doesn't cover it. I had bourbon chicken with the Ghostberry sauce.Baked beans, mac and cheese, and jalapeno cornbread for sides. All were wonderful. Another order was a bologna sandwich withsame sides, that she ate the whole meal. Lastly was a slider that he scarfed. Also got a couple bottles of sauce for home. I'lldefinitely go back. Read more

Met these guys at promcoming in Utica, small town, football is a bid deal. The bourbon chicken was perfect in every way. Crispy,... flavored perfectly, good hearty portions, just enough rice to soak up the juices from the chicken and the seasoning, perfectlycooked rice. Had I a daughter I would marry her off to them to secure an alliance with these men but as I lack a daughter I willcement my appreciation and love for their food with a Google review. I hope whoever. Eats here next gets to enjoy the goodnature and very personable attitude of the employees. I hope they find the food as divine as I did. if they find some reason notto like the heroes of BBQ then I wish a curse on their house and a plague on their lands. Woe is the fool who thinks their riceis not perfect. Woe is the fool who finds the portion small (you probably need to eat less if you think these big portions aresmall).
