I order from here often and unfortunately they will no longer be getting my business . Every time I order a buffalo chicken... cheese steak they seem to forget the buffalo sauce . I try to request they make sure it?s on there and I?m blown off by thegentleman that answers the phone. Then Jack from the kitchen basically tells me I should check my food before I leave as if itisn?t their job to make sure the food leaves the kitchen correct. I worked in the food industry for many years and the attitudeI received from jack from taking no accountability besides saying he has no help when he has a full staff of kitchen workers wasin sane. I requested a manager and jack was who I got . Almost 40 dollars for 2 cheese steaks twice a week and I?m treated as ifthey don?t even care how their food leaves their restaurant. Read more
It is a great looking place. The waitress was very nice and the food was very good. I had the scallops with pasta - I chose... angel hair amd he had the lobster, shrimp with ravioli in a cream sauce. The dish was huge and I brought home enough for 2lunches! The food was seasoned well - the bread was soft and warm and nice size salad before the meal. We went to the bar afterdinner and had a drink. Listen, I enjoyed my burger, and my DATE enjoyed his tortellini. But you know how sometimes men date younger women? Well, my... date was younger than me. HE asked ME out. Rustic old saloon decor and laid back casual comfortable atmosphere. There is a bar that is off in it's own section of the... restaurant. Not a dining area around bar, so it's much quieter with no bar noise to deal with. Nice size menu with a full liquorselection from the bar. Food was very tasty, exactly as ordered. Portion size large enough for some to go home, if you are notstarving. Cost is good for the portion size. Of note, there is a sharing option on the menu of 4.00, which I do not rememberever seeing on a menu before! Sharing is popular in many areas and sometimes it's not allowed without making a scene about it.Strange thing is Google Maps will ask about sharing plates. So, the salad was outstanding, portion size and make up. Steak wastender cooked exactly as ordered. Eggplant parmesan is one of, if not thee best, in the area. Disappointed with only one type ofsoup available (tomatoe), selection of vegetables (not mashed potatoes and corn), and no Worcestershire sauce (they do have A1).Conveniently located (on corner) with access from both Woodlane Rd. and Monmouth Rd. My father started going to Russo?s when it was just a little place in next to the laundry mat. Then Russo opened another store... in Pemberton Boro next to that cumberland farms. So I have been eating Russos food just about my entire life. My father couldwalk in there now and they would know each other. I was just in tonight and it was busy. It has had it lulls but it always getsbusy again. The food seems to have improved over the years. His fresh bread for sandwiches is always awesome. The pizza wasdelicious tonight the service is always great. Dad is 84 now I will have to bring him over for a pie and beer. His name is Rayif this happens to get back to Russo. Read more
