We ordered a large amount for a family get together. The staff was extremely helpful in figuring out how much we needed to feed... everyone and confirmed our order a few days before. The entire experience was pleasant? THE FOOD! My goodness! We are aboisterous bunch but the entire pavilion was quiet once the sat down to eat. Just expressions of joy and delight full mouthmoans. Excellent barbecue. I've tried every meat on their menu and was never disappointed. The mac and cheese is outstanding. Service... has always been great. Only disappointment was the corn bread is served cold and it is on the dry side. Overall one of myfavorite bbq restaurants for sure! Read more
We got lost! We we're riding our motorcycles on the back roads and had to stop. During the conversation/dang it's hot, we... decided to eat. I looked on Google and this restaurant came highly recommended. The food was great. The greens were amazing. Thepeanut butter pie is a must try. The atmosphere was welcoming. The staff was friendly. Phenomenal. Visiting the area from out of town and look this place up. Really grateful for the positive reviews because it more... than lived up to the reputation. Just a really beautiful interior. Nice and cozy. We both got the brisket sandwiches with sideslike onion rings, and french fries and mac & cheese. The portions for everything are very large and very filling. The sandwichand one side was $19 which is not cheap. But when you leave the table as full as we are it is definitely great value. The otherthing we notice is there is nothing standard about any of the sides. The onion rings are about the best I?ve ever had.Absolutely love the smoky barbecue seasoning that day put in the batter. And the fries are clearly homemade in house from freshpotatoes and mac & cheese is gourmet. My son gave m&c a 9.7 out of 10 for whatever that?s worth! Lastly, the service wasincredibly friendly and professional. Just thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back if we?re in the areaagain. Read more
