I got food poisoning from their shrimp last night! I brought my left overs to my dad and now he is sick too. I used to love this... place but after the manager's response to hearing about our experience, I'll never go back and make sure my friends don'teither. I can't believe she didn't care or try to offer anything to make our experience better on the next go round. Justbecause of the poor management, that will be the last time I go there. Very spacious (great for large group dining) indoor and outdoor space, and bar. Loud (but not obnoxious) and lively. Delicious... southwestern food and specialty cocktails (think refreshing fresh-blended watermelon and tequila!). Chips and salsa trio is amust for the table as are the tortilla crusted tuna bites. Their entree bowls are plentiful and customizable. My favorite is thesteak bowl?so many different flavors. You won?t leave hungry; the portions are very generous. Another amazing dinner and a fabulous server named Jason! I had their twist on shrimp and grits where the grits were made into a... fritter! The wife has Tuna Lollipops which are the hidden gem of the menu and street corn that was unbelievable! Jason was awonderful host and interacted with our 11 year old daughter and made her feel included. I am almost becoming overwhelmed witheach experience we have in our new home of Mount Pleasant! Sol is located next to the hotel we are staying at. We saw that they were kid friendly so we decided to give it a shot. We were... very glad we did. Our children (13 & 6) loved their meals as did my husband and I. The prices were excellent and they hadseveral options of meals. The menu was easy to read. Our waiter was great. SOL was conveniently located next to our hotel and we were able to walk over. The restruarant is very large, so you don?t feel... like you are crammed in. The size also helps with the noise level. The place was packed and we could still hear ourconversation. The food selection is small, but there is enough variety that you can find something you like. I enjoyed the BeefEnchiladas. The red sauce was really good. The staff was also very friendly and they had a decent kids menu for the kids.Surprisingly they also had a banana pudding.
