The new ownership of this local Mount Pleasant wine bar is great. Josh and Jerry are AWESOME! They are great at introducing you... to others at the bar and are very knowledgeable. Food is made in house and VERY good. My girlfriend and I live close by andenjoy grabbing some wine and a bite to eat here. We have told all of our friends and family about this awesome bar. If you arevisiting Charleston or you live in Charleston, do yourself a favor and check out The Wine Bar in Belle Hall Shopping Center. -Bobby Read more
The owner of the bar was extremely rude. He made a scene at our table when we nicely asked to cancel our friends order because... they were waiting 30 minutes for their charcuterie board. We received our charcuterie board first, even though we ordered ourfood at the same time, and patiently waited 30 minutes for their board. It was busy at the time and we understood so we kindlyasked to cancel their board since we had almost finished our board and the owner rudely came to the table and made a scene. Weused to love going to this bar and the server was extremely nice, but unfortunately with the service we received from the ownerwe wouldn't recommend going to this wine bar to anyone. Very embarrassed! I live in Belle Hall and suggested a pre-wedding wine and charcuterie dinner for my daughter?s wedding the... next day with her bride?s made and her daughter visiting for the first time from Tampa, Florida. One of our meals was servedbut 30 minutes later after asking several times, our guests were still not served and we were told the kitchen was ?working onit.? Surprisingly, both families ordered charcuterie boards but one came out and the other did not. After a good 30 minutes ofwaiting for our guests? meal, we asked who appeared to be the owner to please remove the food which we had still not receivedfrom the bill and cancel that order. He was very rude about trying to accommodate and came back over to our table defensivelywith excuses, never once mentioning trying to accommodate or compensate for our guests not receiving their food.
