Food was good, just overpriced for what you get. Server was nice. Got diet coke, it was kinda flat. If your looking for uppity... you might like it more. For someone like me just looking for some good seafood, don't expect to walk away full ???? Read more

First visit was just ok. The she crab soup was good, full of crab low on the lowcountry flavor that I'm used to. The seafood... deviled eggs were good as well. Husband got the Shrimp and Grits, the tasso gravy was good. Shrimps large. Grits could havebeen thicker as the gravy consumed the grits. My son had the shrimp dinner. The shrimps were huge!!! They were fried and cookedto perfection, no complaints there. I had the seafood platter. It was enjoyable, I liked the jasmine rice and the sauce thataccompanied it. The hush puppies, I've had better. There is no kids meals here just an FYI. And if paying with a debit card orcredit card there is a surcharge. It is easy to miss Topsail because of its location. Don't. Focus. Make a reservation and go find out why I'm smiling like Mr... Ritchie (of American Idol!). Our daughter in Missouri made the reservation. We had the joy of Salmon and Tuna in a perfectsetting almost on Coleman Boulevard. What more can I say - an attentive waiter (Joel), perfect pairing of Tuna with a pineappleglaze, Brussel Sprouts, Pepper corn grits ... I thought it was unusual that there was little chatter about this place amongst the foodies on social media but realized why on... my first visit. It doesn't inspire another visit nor does it offend; it's simply ok. I'm a fan of non-linear bars so theirsquarish version is a big plus for me, the bartender was excellent & very knowledgeable, and the Happy Hour menu is 1/2 off allFeatured Cocktails. It also has a locals feel. The food ranged from underwhelming to ok and the price points seemed elevated inrelation to the product. We started with the lobster Deviled Eggs, which had a sliver of lobster atop what seems to be standardDE's, along with the Bone Marrow, which texturally was a fail. For entrees, the Crab Stuffed Flounder & Seafood Platter werefine though wouldn't bring me back for more, and the roasted garlic on the smashed potatoes was a nice touch. Read more
