Ruined our birthday party with terrible eggless cake . It was too dry to be eaten except for the icing which was good. 6 pounds... of cake wasted even kids didn?t eat it. This store has been our go to place for eggless cakes but the recent horrible experiencetells me not to come back here again. Read more

Abusive staff | Pathetic Service | Indifferent Owner. Really horrible experience. I ordered a cake via doordash for pickup.... Well in advance 2 days. First of all their place was picked only coz they seemed to be the only option which does egglesscakes. For whatever reason, doordash was showing that their place is closed and I had to call the owner and ask them if it isopen. She spoke to doordash and got it opened. I placed the order. Just to confirm, I called the lady owner again. This isaround 1pm for a cale to be picked up around 5pm. She mentioned that doordash doesn?t notify her until 20mins from pickup, whichwas weird. How/why should the service not inform the owner in advance especially for an item like a cake. Anyway, she asked tocall at around 4pm. I then called her and said that she had told her staff to keep a ready. I then left to reach the place ataround 5:20pm and when asked for the cake, the receptionist said it is not even ready. And I need to wait for 20mins. I had tofinish so many other things and time was a crunch. What?s the point of pre order? I asked him to please hurry it up. I told himthat I have been on constant call with the owner so this is least expected. To which he said you never called me. How is oneperson expected to know his number. Ordering on doordash should be sufficient. When I told him this and asked him to hurry itup, he started abusing me. That was the tipping point. I called the owner lady and doordash customer service to cancel my orderand refund the money. I have also raised a complain with doordash again this restaurant and how they treat customers. Evenapart from that - the place is really badly maintained, dirty display cakes. It is obvious that I will never go there again. Read more

The most unhygienic and low quality sweet shop that I've come across in the Bay Area. Went there today to pick up sweets, and... asked the guy at the counter to give me kesar barfi. He had no idea at all and asked me to check it myself. Came across twosimilar looking sweets and when I asked him how do I differentiate, he called the so called chef, who pointed me towards acompletely different sweet (white). I thought that i might as well pick up a readymade box but it was pathetic and I could veryeasily make out that it had stale sweets. Not just that but even the other sweets were kept on an open tray without any cover orfilm on top of it. It reminded me of the street vendors back home who sell items by the piece. Please save your time and moneyand skip this place. Read more

I went to the bakery today afternoon to buy pastries and samosas. The only attendant on the counter told me not to buy anything,... he said I should check Yelp rating as the stuff is stale and not good and too expensive and I will get food poisoning. I stillasked him to pack me 3 pastries and 4 samosa, he argued again saying I should not buy anything from here. I told him that yourpoint is taken but I still want to buy, I told him to pack what I wanted and I am ready to take the risk. He unwillingly packedpastries but didn?t pack samosas, instead told me that each samosa is for 2$. I still told him to pack and asked him if he isworking for the the owner or against them, he started swearing at me, shouting foul words and refused me to give anything. Itwas really loud and I was shocked to see the behavior of the attendant. I did leave the shop and report this to the owner whoassured me that she will ask the attendant to leave the shop. Anyway, this was very rough experience and I have been buyingstuff from this shop for over 4 years now but this encounter left me shocked! Read more
