I have been going here for years with my friends from Saddlebrook Farms. Usually the service was pretty good. The food is hit... and miss. But tonight was outrageously bad. We had a reservation at 5 PM for 7 people, but no one was working to seat us. Soafter waiting awhile to took a table in the corner. A man I think was one of the owners asked if we were the reservation, andwe told him we were. Then we waited and waited. I had to flag down someone to get the menus. Finally our waitress came and tookour drink order. Her name is Morgan. We asked for separate checks. She took the meal order and that was it. When we got ourchecks there was an addition of $7 as a tip. That was fine for my check as my husband and I had a bill of over $40. But one ofour guys was single and had a bill of only $14. He also had a tip added of $7. When he asked about it Morgan said it is on themenu that because we asked for separate checks there was a charge of $7 per check. I never saw that on the menu, and like I saidwe have been going there for years. Well let me tell you we are not going back any more. Excellent service , we went on a Saturday afternoon , food was fresh and we'll executed I had a Italian beef and my girl had a... wrap both were well made. The server was attentive an cordial ,they have open bar patio with big screens , yes I would comeback for the loud sport atmosphere and the food. Read more
Sat outside on a busy day, my friend and I understood saw how busy it was, and we were willing to wait since we heard good... things about this place. After some minutes, I tried to get the attention of a waitress by saying excuse me, assuming maybe sheforgot us, but she looked at me for a good bit then walked in the other direction, and avoided eye contact with me after that. Itried with another taller waitress too and they walked directly passed us. We never got a menu or asked what drink we wantedafter 20 minutes, while that first waitress was asking the tables next to us if they wanted another drink and if they were okay.I had another friend who coincidentally went with her boyfriend that same day an hour later, just as busy, and sit at that sametable and they experienced no problems like we did. Not sure why we were being ignored by those two, but we were and opted toleave where we would be helped instead of seeking someone else or going inside. I would hate to think it was because my friendand I were the only people of color while everyone else around us was white, but I would hope better of people. Read more
First time here early on a Friday evening. Four of us had the fish fry. It was "OK" - not very hot and didn't like the coating,... but the fish itself tasted good. Tartar sauce was awful. Coleslaw was good, as were the sweet potato fries. Decent service andprices. Huge outdoor seating area, noisy ambiance but to be expected with all those people and a huge bar in the middle. Read more
