Good food, terrible service. Everyone at our table enjoyed our food which included a pulled pork sandwich, pulled pork tacos... and chicken wings. You might get better service if you sit at the bar inside than outside at the back of the restaurant wherewe did. The servers are not very attentive to customers seated outside. It takes about 15min to have someone take your drinkorder and then another 15min to bring it to you and then about 30min to get your food once ordered. After you're done eatingyour food you might wait another 15min to see someone to ask them to bring you a check and then it'll take them 15min to bringyour check out at which point you'll be so angry with the service you'll just go inside and pay at the bar. Visiting from Farmington we enjoyed this eatery. The whitefish bites were tasty for an appetizer, I had the chicken sandwich and... my husband had the wings?both were great. The patio had a great atmosphere and the service was fast and attentive. Willdefinitely stop back in when we visit in the future. Read more
My husband and I shared the poutine, cheese curds, and portabello mushrooms, which were all fantastic. My suggestion tho, call... ahead and get it to go. If Abigail answers, you're in luck, she was wonderful. We ate inside the first night and the waitresswas unfriendly and horrible. She took my husband's drink order and walked off, I had to stop her to order my drink. She thenhovered over my husband after handing him the check waiting to take our money to cash us out. This was an offensive meal. Grilled white fish dinner was appauling. For all the great fresh fish available this was awful. Fish... was unseasoned, dry, and not what you expect from a U.P. white fish experience. The smoked fish dip was a bowl of cream cheesewith sporadic pieces of light flavored smoked fish and some raw bell peppers and onion. Several times you'll take a full spoonof "dip" to realize all you have is cream cheese. Read more

My only advice is to look ahead at the menu and order what you want the first time the server comes to the table or when they... bring your water. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt and went at 5pm on a Thursday thinking it would not be busy andservice would be fast. There were only 2 servers, but only about 7 or 8 tables between the 2 of them while we were there. Ourdrinks came fast and overall beer service was great. After bringing our first beers, our server said she would be back in a fewminutes to take our order. We waited 45 more minutes while tables around us who arrived after us ordered and got their food,without being checked on once by our server. I finally got our server's attention and asked if we could put our order in. Shelooked at me like she was confused and asked "I didn't already get your order?" The food was great, but there was very littlehospitality, so after almost 2 hours (and 2 great beers), we took our food to go. Read more
