We had a wonderful dinner after a day driving. Vinny served us as well cooked our meal. He was excellent. The smoked brisket was... Phenomenal. Very tasty and moist and the barbecue sauce was delicious. My husband asked for more meat and was well worth theadditional cost. The grilled chicken salad was very good. The chicken was moist, the greens were fresh and the homemade dressingvery good. Too bad we won?t be traveling this way again. Definitely would recommend a stop. Read more
Great burgers and fries! Ooh, those fries- they looked and tasted like they had a light batter on them. And the burgers- 1/2... pounders! Two meals for me! The decor is farmhouse and cool looking, and the manager/cook and our waitress, Jackson, and Shavarwere very friendly, and went out of their way for us. Fantastic. We are a group of cyclists riding across South Dakota.l on RASDak. Ride across SD. We are so glad we stopped here.... The food is outstanding. Especially the brisket sandwich. Both guys said best they ever had. I had the best grilled chickensalad. The beer selection is outstanding. Vinny is the manager. Probably the best manager I?ve ever come across. Good restaurant in the local town of Murdo.South Dakota. Pleasant decor and appearance, very good servers who will take your... orders ,and also take the time to read your order back to you so there are no mistakes from either side. The food was great boththe starters and the main courses were well presented to us . I had the mashed potato and chicken with sweetcorn ,which wasserved in a large bowl ,alot easier to mix and eat The other meal was a large bowl of salad with grilled chicken. Our serverXavier explained that he was new but performed admirably, without faults . Very very limited menu They present a large menu, but most of the items are crossed out. The menu of what they really offer is... very limited. The staff all seems very nice, a group of guys and gals working here for the Summer from Jamaica. The some of thefood was good, the fries have a nice seasoning tossed on them. The brisket hamburger was a let down, thinking the actual burgerwas the brisket. It was a hamburger patty with some brisket on top. The cowboy slop was chicken topped with mashed potatoes andgravey but the gravey was over powering. The setup of the restaurant is cute and fits well in the area, a popular spot forlocals. Read more
