I don?t know what happened to this location. I?ve been steadily going every few months since they opened and I?ll preface this... review by saying I?m completely aware that it?s a chain bbq place. I know to keep my expectations at a certain level. Anyhow Iwent there for lunch yesterday and it just wasn?t the same. The ribs were super over cooked falling apart and small. The doubleorder of fries seemed like the old single order and I could have swore they used to have waffle fries? Then there was thebrisket, and I?ll repeat that I know this was a Dickeys in Muskegon, it was terrible compared to previous visits. It was cutwith the grain and tough. Last time I was there the brisket was too good to be from a chain place. This time it was super leanwith barely any bark. I?ll wait a while before I go back and hope things change back. Read more
My first time going I ordered pork ribs, 6 wings, mac n cheese, fried pickles. Got home and had no wings, my mac n cheese were... fries, and my pickles were fried okra. I went back with the food and receipt and placed them on the counter while they fixed theorder. Came back home and was dumb enough to not check the bag. We?ve eaten here many times and would rate most of our experiences as close to a 5, but today it was way off the mark! The... chicken was good, but the brisket was dry and stringy and had no flavor whatsoever. Maybe just an off day? Very disappointingconsidering the price! Read more
