I always try to find a local coffee house during my travels, to found Grand Strand, and decided to give it a try. It is def... local and seems to be family-run. I THINK the owner came in while I was there. Not really a place to hang out and work, theinside is pretty small with just a few tables. Outside there are more tables. The coffee and quiche were decent. So why 3stars? While I know that working these kinds of jobs are not the best for every young person, there were a few times that thestaff were talking bad about customers and there were a few other topics that I am sure they would not everyone to hear. I?d love to say this Small Coffee Shop is a lovely business, and I?m absolutely positive it is. But however I had quite a... disappointing interaction with and employee this Morning 7-27-22. *To Consumer* (I?m not a customer, this is not meant in anyway to stop you from supporting this business. I just need the owners attention on this matter). My Family and I were enjoyinga Smoothie Bowl next door to this coffee shop and we?re having a lovely relaxing time. We were sitting outside (3 of us) at atable with about 4 or 5 chairs in-front of Smoothie Bowl Place. Keep in mind, chairs were already at table before we sat down.That?s important. And employee friendly at first, from the coffee shop approached my family?s table and stated one of the chairsbelonged in-front of their restaurant. I immediately got up so the employee can relocate the chair. In the process, the employeewas rude and talked to my Family as if we had personally moved the chair ourselves. The interaction was rude. You do not speakto my family this way. I will guarantee my removal of this Review, if the owner responds in and appropriate manner andapologizes accordingly. I do not believe in leaving a bad review to a small business I?m not even a customer of. I just needthe owner to hear my frustration. Thank you, and have a lovely day. Read more
