This place was incredible!! Our family from NJ came here for lunch on a rainy day and it was the best meal we had while on... vacation. The lamb and beef gyro was delicious and the french fries were amazing. They were roasted fries and tasted so good.Lily, the owner and her family were so kind and hospitable and even gave our us and our kids ices and the most incrediblebaklava while we waited out a rain storm for almost 30 minutes. What a great addition to the area! I loved that upon entering I saw gyro meat rotating on a spit- talk about fresh! The gyro... platter was very delicious and the food all tasted fresh and flavorful. I will definitely return. The owner was very friendly. The restaurant was very clean but also had good decor. We were heading to the Mediterranean place across the parking lot but it looked a bit dirty inside so decided to try the Greek... Taverna across the way. Glad we did. Wife had the gyros platter and I had the pork skewer platter. Everything was flavorful. The potatoes tasty, hot and perfectly cooked. Even the pita was warmed just right. Salad had a lots of kalamata olives, Oh ya!Great Taziki too We could have easily shared one platter between the two of us as we are no longer heavy eaters. They hadbeers and Pepsi fountain products. Did not get dessert but saw that they had a tone of freshly baked cakes on offer. The placewas very clean and modern. Only downside was that the platters came in to go aluminum containers and the utensils were plastic,but it is understandable since staffing is hard to find in the area. If you like freshly made and flavorful Greek try it. Weeat Greek often and it was the best we had in a long time. I thought it was expensive until I started eating. It was worthit!
