Wanted to find a mom and pop type place to eat on our way back from Charleston, instead of something fast food. Well we found it... here! I ordered the all you can eat fish fry and it was delicious. My second piece was blackened baked fish and it was sogood. The service was quick and friendly. I'll remember this place for any future stops. Read more
I have come here a few times as a local, and have enjoyed it every time. The atmosphere is comfortable and familiar, and the... people who work here are so welcoming and friendly. The Happy Hour specials are amazing! We expected the portions to be smaller,but they seemed to be full size, which we were very happy about! Logan was our server, and he was prompt and patient. Forappetizers, we got the string cheese and the fried cauliflower. They tasted amazing. The breading on both of these items wasjust right. I got the meatball sliders and my boyfriend got a salad. The meatball sliders were a little difficult to eat,because the meatballs were so big! I ended up cutting them in half, and enjoyed some of the meatballs by themselves. They wereexcellent! This place is a hidden gem in Socastee. The prices are reasonable and the food is fantastic. They have all you can eat fish fry... on Wednesdays and Fridays. Also tried several appetizers and they were excellent. Their Chicken Bog Balls are the best I'veeaten. The wait staff is excellent. It does have a bar side and the restaurant side, and sometimes the place gets a bit loud(usually) later in the evening, so if that might be too much for you, come by earlier in the day. Great place,great food.one of my favorite local places to eat.wife loves this place and so do i.reservations are strongly... encouraged due to high volume of clientele.everyone knows its good and that why they come.something for everyone.come on by andget some good grub.pictured below is the shrimp po boy I got.very good but wasn't a big fan of the glaze on the shrimp insteadof just fried would've been better.
