In 1997 two not recruited, unsigned college students Brandon Landry and Jack Warner pursued their dreams of being athletes on... the Louisiana State University basketball team. Being walk-ons their playing time was limited and bench time plentiful. Theysoon discovered common interests and over time their friendships grew to a working interest. In 2003, the first in the franchisewas birthed in the shadows of LSU?s Tiger Stadium and now with 100 locations in the works across 15 states. We visited the newlyopened Myrtle Beach location for an afternoon lunch. Bright and airy, with large expansive seating and bar area with cementfloors, high industrial ceilings and big screen TVs aplenty. Wood chairs, tables and hard back padded booths soon becameapparent that they offered little to none in softening the noise as the place filled up. But what?s to be expected at a sportsbar. Menu offers a more extensive, made from scratch authentic Louisiana cuisine. From Bistreaux Specialties to hand pattedburgers, sandwiches and poboys to starters, soups and salads, wraps and tacos to seafood signature dishes. All are freshly madefrom scratch and locally sourced if at all possible. Needing a light lunch we ordered the California Chicken wrap with chunkychicken, bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato, garlic aioli and a cheese swap to Monterey Jack wrapped in a spinach tortilla. A sideof waffle fries and honey mustard rounded off the meal. Proportion, presentation and plentiful ingredients were given highmarks. Shane and a new recruit were working their A game by being personable and helpful by recommending their beignet fordessert. We gave in and were soon enjoying their warm, flaky square of fried dough sprinkled with confectioners' sugar. Thiscould be a start of something good. Read more

Worst food I've ever tried! Couldn't even finish it cause of hard fatty cheap meat in the philly. Every bite I had to spit out.... The meat looked like some cheap canned meat. I've never been so disgusted with my food till I found this place. Lol McDonald'sgives better quality meat! The chicken Alfredo we got also had cheap chicken with fat, look like it came out of a can. Waited 20mins for food on a dead night. Was suppose to be a 6" for 12.99 Philly and they give me this kid size sandwich haha wow. Do NOTcome here. More like walk outs. Friendly service though. Ordered Hickory Burger. Excellent! Mine came with what seemed like an order of onion rings on the top. I set most of those... aside (enjoyed them also). I ordered a glass of red wine (during Happy Hour) and failed to specify "House." I noticed this onthe bill, which was $5 per glass more than the Happy Hour price. My bad, I guess. Read more

First time visitor to MB from Georgia, party of 3. The atmosphere was great and experience eventful. We came at a busy time... and the kitchen had some challenges however the GM Sam came by the table and immediately resolved all concerns. The food wasvery good and the service was top notch. Our server Delilah served us the day before at another restaurant and invited us toexperience Walk-On's. We waited on her section and sincerely appreciate her outstanding service 2 days in a row. I highlyrecommend her section for superb service. I look forward to a perfect visit to Walk-ons in the future. Read more

I have NOTHING at all bad to say! Food and server, 5 stars for sure! Ordered 2 appetizers, the mozzarella sticks and the... boneless wings, (we ordered them naked, to try different sauces) . And for lunch we got the red fish tacos and a burger. Triedthe bloody Mary as a drink as well. It came with 2 string beans, large piece of bacon, a roasted red pepper, a lemon, 2 cucumbersAND an attached mini Tobasco sauce! Shout out to ANNETTE as the best server! So awesome. Read more
