Here for a business meeting. Breakfast was light and fresh. The fruit was cut into perfect bite size pieces. Joan and Jen were... very accommodating during our lunch service with everything I was asking for. I ordered the Rueben sandwich and it was juicy anddelicious!! The irons restaurant at the Mystic Hilton is fabulous. Happy hour mon-Thu 4-6 is awesome!! We had the short rib sliders,... teriyaki wings, firecracker shrimp and potato bites. The specialty drink menu is great. We had the ginger snap mule andirontini. Both fabulous! Oh the chocolate chip cookie in a skillet is fabulous!!kayla our waitress and mike the helper werefabulous! The Irons Restaurant was a nice place, good atmosphere, and great staff. Randi, our waitress, was so friendly and helpful... with the menu. Then she told us of a fun celebration going on downtown for the 100th anniversary for the bridge. Great PR forthe community! We enjoyed our meal, boxed up the leftovers and headed downtown! Our family had the short ribs, salmon, chicken sandwich and Turkey BLT for dinner?all dishes were cooked to perfection. Iron... Skillet chocolate chip cookie for an after dinner treat, one of the best we have had in years, bubbling chocolate deliciousnesswhen it arrived at our table! Went to the Irons during happy hour! The sliders were excellent. We had the prime rib previously and agreed on its tenderness... and flavor. Our server at the bar was Lacey who was engaging just to the right point! She made our visit very enjoyable withher nice smile and dialogue. Disappointed that they didn?t have the firecracker shrimp hence the 4/5 rating! Read more
