Great local bar with great seafood and drinks. The Hatteras clam chowder is the best in the Outer Banks and the oyster sandwich... was the best I?ve ever had. Plump oysters lightly breaded and fried, juicy full of flavor. Read more
One of those "must visit" restaurans on the Outer Banks for a great wallet friendly meal in a cozy tavern like setting. We came... for breakfast. They have the standards and our large group all enjoyed their food. The staff is the best, very helpful andfriendly. Skip the chains and support this local place! You won't be disappointed! Read more
this was a great and cheap place to eat. they've been open since 1937 so this is the go to place. we got there 2 minutes after... they opened and there was a line going out the door of people that had been waiting. we were lucky enough to get the last table.we pasted by a few times later and every meal of the day, they have a line out the door. the food was a delicious and it was avery local, family friendly environment. This birthday dinner can't be beat! The she crab soup had silky flavorful base loaded with lump crab. More crab with deluxe... crabcakes, great seasoned collards and black beans. Scallop & shrimp dinner with slaw and cornbread is always a winner. Waitress saw to our every need and as locals, Sam & Omie's is one of our favorites! Read more
