I ordered delivery today, my first time trying Haru BBQ. The food was packed very well, super hot and fresh. I ordered a... salmon combo box and an extra order of mandoo. The portions for the salmon combo box are huge, especially for the price! I wasexpecting half as much salmon as there was. Lots of variety in the combo box--japchae, tempura, spring rolls, mandoo, salad,soup, rice, little side dishes, dipping sauces, and a protein [salmon in my case]. Enjoyed the combo box with pork bulgogi. The glass noodles were tasty as well as everything else in the combo box. Generous... portions. The others had the seafood bibimbap and pretty much inhaled it, it was that good he said. The seafood pancake was alsodelicious as my fellow diner said. They have a very busy night when were there. Customer service was fine but not great. I especially love Korean food. Thankfully,... there is some here in Nanaimo. For me the food was fine. I love it. You need to reserved a table. So, wouldn't worry to beaccommodated. When we were there, I thought my husband did not booked our table. Thus, the lady told us, that they cannotaccommodate us. It was our wedding anniversary. I felt so bad when she told us , Sorry. My husband was outside looking for aparking spot. Since, it was so hard to park there that time.
