This one's sort of a split review for Panago Pizza and Doordash. Panago Pizza has chosen to turn off special instructions for... ordering their food off of doordash. This means that if you do have any special instructions, like for instance an allergy whereyou require a toping removed, you are supposed to call the store. Panago does not have store specific phone numbers, so Icalled their main hotline, and they told me to talk to DoorDash support to get the topping removed, as they cannot remove thetopping since it was placed through a third party. To be clear - I was not asking for anything extra. I wanted them to remove.a. topping. I spoke to doordash who told me they cannot change an order that has already been placed, and to cancel then orderagain without the topping, which cannot be done because special instructions is turned off. (to clarify, they also don't give alist of the toppings for removal). I use doordash because I pay for dashpass, so I don't have to pay for delivery fees. Inalmost all of my other orders through doordash, I don't have any problems like this, so this is unique to Panago Pizza, which iswhy this review is for them. Favourite pizza place in Nanaimo. Their whole grain thin crust is perfect and they are very generous with their toppings. They... always add a new pizza to try out - and so far have no dissapointed. Their latest hot honey crispy chicken is so yummy. Lovetheir salads as well especially the Tuscan. Staff are friendly. Read more

We ordered online and scheduled next day delivery. The ordering process was easy and allowed me to customize toppings. The... delivery person showed up right on time and did a contactless delivery. The pizza was hot and the thin crust was ultra-thin -just the way my family likes it. We all enjoyed the pizza. I recommend the Jerk Chicken Pizza (minus the peppers unless you likeit spicier - the sauce already has some kick) and the New York Deli if you're a meat lover. Next time I'll try out theirplant-based pizza as I hear that is good. They have gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan options available. Read more
