Nice breakfast. Went for “the animal” breakfast sandwich with fresh side of potatoes and it hit the spot. Good coffee too.
We went to celebrate my birthday and had the most wonderful time!! The food was delicious. The atmosphere was warm, festive and... unpretentious. The service was attentive. We ordered a bottle of rose and split the goat cheese apple salad (without bacon), theartichoke dip, and the pickled vegetables. For entrees we had the spicy tuna bowls and miso salmon. We decided to try this for a late breakfast based on the reviews and then we were terribly disappointed. The hostess was far... from welcoming, no Hello, etc. After sitting for about 15 minutes, I had to ask if we had a waitress and the hostess had to gofind her. The waitress did not check in on us once. Not only was the service terrible, but the food was mediocre at best. TheFrench toast was pretty good and the egg white scramble was good, but the breakfast tacos did not taste like they had chorizoand everything else was average at best. Great service, nice ambiance, food was just ok. The service: Hostess was very friendly and accommodating. We had a reservation... for outdoor uncovered which are the wood benches in front of the restaurant. It was a hot day and we asked for a table inside.She very kindly pulled a few tables together to seat our party of 6. Our waitress was provided top service. She didn’t miss abeat on anything. This place definitely has top notch service all around. The ambiance: Beautiful restaurant with a coveredpatio/garden that was very nice. The food: I ordered the Summer Risotto with Lobster and my husband ordered the Pork Loin.Risotto lacked flavor, the consistency was right and there was a lot of it. Love love love!!! We found this place on a rainy Sunday to be just exactly what we needed for a late breakfast. We ordered the... Panko Eggs Benedict and the Turkey Hash with eggs. Both were fantastic!! The service was fast and friendly (thanks, Anastasia!)and the wait time was minimal. This place had a very relaxed island vibe.
