I have had the fortune of eating here a number of times and each time has been an amazing, unique experience! The food is... delicious and the ambiance is a great mix of old world and modern. Coles Chop House was definitely worth it. Our service was fantastic, the atmosphere was very clean and elegant. The bread rolls... and butter was amazing to start off the dinner. We ordered the Halibut ceviche which was delicious and we also ordered thePorterhouse Steak already sliced (medium cooked) which was absolutely perfect! For our sides we had mashed potatoes, spinach,and also a some sort of mushroom plate which were all good as well. For dessert we had Creme Brule and a bread pudding platewhich was the best bread pudding I've ever had. This was our first time visiting Cole’s Chop House while in Napa and it did not disappoint! We were seating in the outdoor... tent, which was set up perfectly. It was open feeling, but still warm with a heat lamp nearby. A “Happy Anniversary” cardwas waiting for us as we arrived and our gracious server followed just after, wishing us the same. I visited a friend in Oakland Veteran’s Day weekend. Sunday we went to Napa, tasted some wine and then went to Cole’s for... dinner. The ambiance was nice, the service was good. The sides were delicious, but my steak was horrible. I ordered my steakmedium well, with little pink, so basically well. Now many of you would say that’s my fault for ordering a well steak, andthat’s where I would have to disagree! I actually order all of my steaks well. They still come out tender and juicy anddelicious! I can’t cook steak, I’ve tried but I just can’t it’s difficult for me and they always turn out tough,therefore I don’t cook them. The steak tasted like I cooked it. I actually left steak on the plate because it was taking toomuch energy to chew. I want to give them a higher score, but it is a steak house and that’s what I’m rating. Read more
