Menu for Lucky in Napa, CA

I normally will ONLY do positive reviews and abstain from the negative trap, but I have to make an exception in this case. This... is 100% my opinion based upon my experience(s) at this store. I have to give them 1 star to do the review--they don't allowzero or negative stars. Horrible store. Prices are just stupid at this point, and they go up more frequently than everyweek--particularly since the new ownership group took over, not that they were much better prior. These increases are waybeyond the "covid" or "supply chain" excuse that has become so popular--this is about elevating profits post-purchase. Theservice is SLOW, understaffed 100% of the time, and most of their employees either don't want to be there or are miserable anbuying time until they can retire and get out. Good luck getting a paper bag--it's plastic all the way, to save money--but theemployees have been coached to lie about availability, fact is, they don't order because they cost more than plastic! Stockstatus is sparse and consistently unreliable. Your best hope is to do their work yourself, but they shut down the self-checkout stations early, leaving no choice but to hit those horrible lines, that move slower than traffic on HWY 80 near the baybridge. After 7 years, I've made my last trip, I'll see how Safeway does. Makes one feel anything but Lucky. Read more

Unprofessional cashier kept saying two customers (elders) were being rude to him when they were just waiting to pay. I guess the... manager even came and told him to honor a price change. The horrible cashier kept arguing with this poor lady about the price. Iwanted to butt in but the women weren't mad they just wanted to get out of there. I usually pay through self check out and willnow only do self check out in this location. Poor form on that male cashier, definitely needs to be relocated to the stock room. Read more

I live pretty close to this store and its clean and well priced so I?m in here all the time. Today i ran in just for some cheese... and garlic bread , which they didn?t have so i got their sweet french bread, which is great. When i got home and cut it andtasted it it was SOUR DOUGH bread. I know lots of people like it but i do NOT. If this were the first time I wouldn?t care butwe went to get some sweet french 2 weeks ago and got home and it was Garlic Bread. And less than a month ago once again a SweetFrench was a SOUR DOUGH i called the store manager after the second time and again today and got the same story. Oh new people.We will take care of it and replace your bread next time you come in, which i haven?t asked for. Just fix the problem ! . Read more

I entered the store and had plans to cook dinner, to my surprise the deli had a variety of dishes prepared so Chicken wings (BBQ... AND HOT WINGS) CESAR SALAD AND FOR DESSERT AMBROSIA. NOT TO BAD. Didn't have to cook and it didn't break the bank. All in all 2thumb up. Read more
