I didn't care for the place. The wine wasn't that good unless you like Night Train Express or wines of similar quality. I don't... care for the owner either, he always talks down to his customers like he knows better than everyone else. Seems like a bit of anelitist, if you ask me. A while ago he was requiring all of his customers to wear masks but refused to wear one himself. What ahypocrite! I would NOT go back. Save your money and go to BevMo instead. Read more
Sure hope the windery is 100% solar powered, and all the farm/warehouse vehicles are EVs, since it was likely funded by money... from CA taxpayers and PAC doners. Oh wait, didn't Gavin just say the state's fragile electrical grid was overloaded (again)? Read more

We?re not quite sure how many of the other negative reviews managed to have a bad time here. We had a fantastic morning here... with our host Kevin, who was obviously passionate about wine and more than happy to share his extensive knowledge of the winery,Napa, and area restaurants. Regarding bugs, we had one small flying insect land on our table at one point during the tasting. Wewere outside, in the middle of a working vineyard. I am not upset about that at all. Some of the outdoor tasting tables areabout 10ft from the vines, so if that would bother you massively, consider requesting an indoor table or a courtyard patiotable. The vineyard is beautiful and we loved the wines. I hope you have as good of a time at PlumpJack as we did. Read more
