It was a wonderful experience dining at Zuzu. The food was amazing and our server was super nice other staff were too! Paella... was delicious except i think the portion is a bit small. The flat iron steak is super tender and with their saucemamamia???? Will definitely come back again! Read more
Really such an experience coming in, the ambience is great. Came in for the lobster paella and loved it. Has a strong tomato... based taste, pleasantly paired with the sauce they serve with it. Not sure if this is a constant, but do know that thisparticular dish took 30 minutes to make and the staff did kindly let me know beforehand which I acknowledged. The food at Zuzu is delicious! We ordered the gambas, the mussels, and the lamb chops. The gambas and mussels are sooo good, you... really want to mop up every last drop with the bread they give. Amazing! The lamb chops were a bit too rare for our liking andwe would have preferred a more savory flavor as opposed to the sweet barbecue sauce that it was cooked with. But the reason forthree stars was because our waitress was such a Debbie Downer. She did not smile at all, and when we asked her forrecommendations, she gave a sigh and was just going through the motions. She was just very unhappy throughout. Zuzu was a lovely tapas experience in Napa Valley. We dined there on the first night we got into Napa and despite it being... colder than average, the patio was a lovely, warm, experience with heaters, good wine, amiable servers and phenomenal tapas. Mypersonal favorite was the boquerones, but my sisters thoroughly enjoyed the lamb. We had about 6 tapas for the table, twodesserts and wine and it worked up to about $60 a person.
