I was removed from the place because i was dancing on the floor and they removed from enjoying the music. I mean whats the point... of having dance floor which is too congested and you don’t entertain somebody. I didn’t touch a girl ( i swear) and i wasjust dancing on my vibe. Anyways! I appreciate the environment they have created to make people enjoy. Read more

I've heard a lot of mixed things about peoples' experiences at Potter's Place, but I've never had a bad one there. Occasionally... service can be slow, but usually during high traffic hours so I wouldn't say that's much different from other restaurants in thedowntown area. I have gone numerous times and EVERY single time I get the 3lb nachos that they list under the appetizerssection. Obviously not 'authentic' Mexican food in that regard, but if you want some awesome nachos get those. They bring themout in a big tin can and dump them all into the bowl in front of you. You can choose whatever protein you want in them, I likethe ground beef or the steak. My favorite part about these nachos is the cheese. They use white quest of some sort and it's SOGOOD. Perfect amount of salt. My advice is to not fill up on the free chips and salsa ahead of time because these nachos arehuge and can easily be split among 3 or 4 people. As long as they have the nachos, I will go there. I'll post a picture, too,but the only one I have is after we started eating them. Read more

I gave it 4 stars because we had a really good waiter/bartender. He was very nice and fun. The food and drinks were good. It's a... fun place for all age groups. Live bands are nice in the back patio. Lots of people, the place is packed on weekends andweekdays in the summer. On the other hand, and this is why I took away a star. Get more bathrooms and clean them in between. There was a long line just to us the restroom and there was only 1 restroom each for men and women. There were lines for bothlike, 10+ in each line. I mean, ridiculous!!! I had to go and I was like,"eeeew, I am gonna wait until I get home...". I meanseriously people ???? Read more

Horrible bridal shower experience. A memorable night was ruined by stupidity, lack of professionalism, and unnecessary... aggression. A member in our party was faced with discrimination based on “dress code” (no signs or rules of dress codeposted in sight of the establishment or on the website) and “gang affiliation.” For wearing a pink bandana withflamingo’s on it as a headband. However, when someone else in the party wore the bandana for the duration of our stay ( awhite woman) and passed by the same security guard who came to yell at the other member in our party twice, nothing was said toher. She intentionally got his attention and he smiled and said hi. We were in disbelief. To make matters worse, when Iapproached security and asked if I could speak to a manager, he interrogated me on why I needed to, said no one was available,it was not his job, their too busy, and proceeded to argue with me and refused to call a manager for a solid 15 minutes beforegetting his security manager who then brought us to the restaurant manager to speak to us. When we would attempt to explain thesituation he did not listen to anything that was said and tried to say we were raising our voices at him, in an attempt todeflect from the matter at hand instead of attempting to diffuse the situation and obviously he is going to take his colleaguesside. He did admit that the bandana shouldn’t have been an issue, encouraged the member in the party to put it on and enjoythe rest of his night and we shouldn’t have been yelled at in first place, but it was not a sincere apology he simply did notcare to hear our complaints. He also refused to refer us to someone above his position to speak to on a later date. Uponleaving, I confirmed with security at the door that preforms the bag check if they would have told him to remove his bandana ifit was a security concern or against dress code and he said he would have. I didn’t realize that it was company policy forsecurity and managem Read more

It was very busy on a Saturday night. They did have love music outside on the patio. Service was slow. People inside were so... loud that I couldn't hear the person right in front of me. Security is very strict for some reason. They will really checkeverything. Guys were even lifting their shirts, not a pretty sight. Drinks were so watery, definitely not worth the money. Got2 long islands and it was almost like they had no alcohol in them. Guacamole was good but had no salt so very bland. I justwould not recommend this place. Bartender was kind. Read more
