My husband's first pick on vacation and you know it has to involve oysters and key lime custard pie. Probably the best key lime... pie I've ever had though and the lobster reuben was to die for, as the menu says...would definitely come back. Read more
What great hospitality! We had 8 in our party and the waitress, Karen was superb ????. We had 4 separate checks but she was... flawless in her service. One sandwich was late but not late enough where is was an issue. I normally do not have dessert but Ihad the Key Lime pie before my meal so I would have enough room and so worth it! The food was good, though I feel I didn?t get to enjoy it fully because I scarfed it down so fast because I was starving. It... took 50 mins to get our plates after ordering. & we ordered fried oysters with fries, which I don?t think should?ve taken thatlong to prepare. The place was really busy, but I noticed numerous tables that were seated after us, getting their meals longbefore us. Went because of the great reviews. We were not impressed at all with the food. We ordered Calamari (marinara sauce has a very... weird taste), Gator Bites (tartar sauce has an unfamiliar taste) Fried Shrimp (was simply average and came with a BBQ sauce) anda Bacon Cheeseburger (ground beef was good, bacon was burnt and bun was dry).
