ADORABLE place!! such a cute whimsical outdoor area and the vibe here is impeccable. Just know though that this is the kind of... place you go more for the ambiance and photo opportunities than for the actual food (It was fine but none of us thought it wasanything to really write home about). Also I have to confess I was a little discouraged about returning due to the cleanliness?while I was waiting to use the bathroom I had a moment to look around by the kitchens while waiting and it could have beencleaner. A lot of things seemed dusty and the floors looked like they hadn?t been swept or mopped particularly good in awhile. The bathroom was also pretty dirty and messy which surprised me. That?s my only complaint really though. It was a niceexperience but I don?t know that I would care to go back again. Read more

Let tell you! Ambiance is a 10! Quiet, calm, peaceful. Staff was all outstanding! Polite, knowledgeable, attentive. Drinks, my... Bloody Mary was excellent! Food: the best for last. I had the Eggs Benedict and it was of the highest quality. Easily one of mybest breakfasts I've had in a long time. Kathleen was very nice and really wants to provide the best service to her customers. Iwant to give a shoutout to her son who made my delicious meal! Don't change a thing brother keep doing you! If you are in thearea this is a must stop! Read more

Birds nest cafe is an excellent place for brunch in Nashville. I suggest you make reservations because there were a lot of... people waiting for a table. We sat outside and it was beautiful, the service was a bit slow outside but we didn?t mind. Thekombucha mimosa was interesting but nothing too special. The Porkchop however, was one of the best dishes I have had in a while.Cooked to perfection and served with mashed potatoes that were flavorful. The biscuit that was served with it was excellent aswell, perfect texture. The Scrap plate looks good on paper but is a bit overwhelming once you eat it. The bacon gravy is tastybut easily overpowers everything on the plate. I suggest getting it on the side if you can, then this would be a perfect dish.Overall a great experience and a great meal! Just not enough positive adjectives to describe the vibe and service at this place. We rented a house on Jefferson St for... sisters? weekend. We were in search for a Saturday morning Bloody Mary and found this place just a short walk away. The youngwoman at the check in counter was a sweetheart and gave us a table for 5 even though we had not reserved ahead. Our service(Quentin, I think? I?m embarrassed I don?t recall) was charming, funny and attentive Admittedly, we ordered more bloody marysthan food, but the bacon Bloody Mary was delicious We also loved the fried green tomato BLT. Sit outside on the patio. It?s amuch better experience than any indoor table Fresh food. Great service. You cannot go wrong stopping by here. Read more
