The food was bland and lacking in portion size and complexity. Although the gumbo's roux was nice and dark, they then proceeded... to water it down to the point that it was the viscosity of a thin soup. The crawfish were small and the etouffe was bland. Do not let the slightly run down exterior of this place put you off - it's a diamond in the rough! The guys running the place... are friendly and helpful and the food is excellent. The cajun menu offers particular dishes that you won't find in most placeslocally. The Jambalaya and the Shrimp Creole are particularly reccommended. I'd be happy to go back time and time again! Ate there on 3/5/19 for lunch and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. Service was horrible and not very cleanly.... Workers were touching everything but not washing their hands. The food was bland and not very appealing. I would recommend no tovisit this place. Read more
