After a long day at a conference nearby and some mall shopping we were looking for some good Mexican food. We found Chuy's on... the mall map but had a hard time finding it. We finally realized that it was outside the mall. They had plenty of space, but wehad to sit in the bar in order to be seated right away. Our server was great - fast service and friendly. We ordered our foodand it was OK...nothing special, but not bad. The nachos were pretty lacking in meat and the flautas were more tortilla thanchicken. But overall the meal hit the spot. One of the best food options here at the Opry mall, excluding the fast food in the food court. It was our first time here, and... were seated quickly, even though it was incredibly busy. Food was delicious and came out timely. The decoration within thebuilding was very stylish and cool. Will definitely return the next time we come to this mall! Not all Chuy's are created equal! We chose this spot while out of town because we are very familiar with Chuy's other cities.... The food was barely average, with some of it not being eaten because it was stale. I got to hear the server at the next tabletalking on her phone while cleaning the table, telling whoever that the table only left her a $5 tip and she was going to go inthe corner and cry. Sad yes, but not what I want to hear at dinner. They were out of refried beans, ground beef, and severalothers... Kinda a big deal for a Mexican restaurant. Overall, every aspect was below average. Then talking to the front staff atour hotel, they told us that was the "worst place" to go. Read more
