Being as we are new to the Nashville area and big fans of Mexican food, we try a lot of Mexican restaurants. We had been told... this place and Red Pepper were the places to go for Margaritas as well as the food so we did. El Fuego is hands down betterIMHO. The house Margaritas here have real lime juice and are really good, no need to order top shelf. The food is also moretraditional Mexican food and priced fairly. Staff is good, although the place gets busy, we never felt ignored and always couldget help if needed. No disrespect to Red Pepper but this is our new home for Margarita Mondays. Read more

Worst service ever we order a fajita taco salad no tomatoes and they did extra , cheese dip had some chips in it. They took food... to the wrong table and the server picked it up from the table and brought it to me. The food was already opened and touched andhe still gave it to me. We nevee got refills. Ordered two taco plates - suadero and al pastor. Honestly pretty good. The meat was tender, seasoned very well and grilled... perfectly. The only gripes I had were that it's expensive considering you only get two tacos and they were lukewarm, not hot.Additionally, service was real slow. We had a party of 8 and two of our folks didn't get their orders timely and some parts oftheir orders were missing. Ultimately, they had to wait almost 20 mins after the rest of us gotten our orders.
