Food & drinks are great, just be prepared to pay (a lot) for them. That said, the lamb chops were the best I've ever had.... Paella was tasty as well, perfect for sharing with a group. If you have cash burning a hole in your pocket, it can be wellspent here. I may be back for those lamb chops!! Read more

I've never eaten at a Bodega before, neither has my wife. We were trying to entertain some out of town guests and after driving... around in Adams Morgan for about 30 minutes trying to find parking, we decided to come to Georgetown instead. We were sorelieved to find parking at a garage nearby and then just traveling on foot to see what options we had for food after 10pm.Bodega won for us. Me nor my wife couldn’t pronounce the foods they had on the menu good despite the English text in captionson the menus, which was a nice touch but that didn't matter to us as we were hungry. My wife, and our two guests had yhe samething which was basically mashed potatoes, gravy, and green beans. I had lamb chops, a scoop of mashed potatoes with gravy andthat was all that came on my plate as it looked like something a five year old would yet. I was expecting an actual meal. It wasdelicious but I left feeling hungry still. So glad that the Häagen-Dazs was still open as I gored on some chocolate peanutbutter ice cream. Overall at the Bodega, great customer service, friendly staff, including from the managers / owners who wereon hand. The atmosphere was quaint, dark and intimate. Price wise for all of us it came to $148 and that included two homemadesangrias, a martini, and a bottle of Estrella Dark for me. Never had it before and it was great. For four people in Georgetown? It's Georgetown folks and let's not forget inflation. I highly reccomend for folks that's trying to entertain out of town guestsor celebrating a special occasion. In our case we were celebrating our anniversary weekend, a great panel we hosted at AwesomeCon at the Convention Center, and finally being able to meet and hang out with our out of town friends. Give it shot! Read more

We stumbled upon Bodega Spanish Tapas and Lounge after walking around M street and wanted a place to rest ourselves with a drink... at the bar. We didn't order any food, because we just ate a huge meal, so we had a few beers and sangrias and met 2 locals whogave us some great tips! I really enjoed this place. It's tiny and cozy and the bartenders and locals were very friendly! Read more

Randomly stepped into this place and it was crowded and we sat at the bar. The portions sizes are small and it is pricey. We... were going to order the Paella but it was about 25 minutes to get that. We went with the hot tapas instead. They also gave breadand that was good. We had Tortilla Espanola which is basically a slice of omelette . It came with Mayo and was a bit salty forme , otherwise it was good. The Calamares fritos was not bad too. Gambas al Ajillo (shrimp sauteed in garlic)was what myhusband had and the garlic and olive oil in it was good with the bread they served. We also got the Brocheta de Pollo which werethe chicken skewers with peppers and that was the best dish personally. Read more
